Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed on a green note on Sunday, August 03, 2025.
- The main index, EGX30 went up by 0.22 per cent, to 34,272.16 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33 rose by 0.41 per cent to 3,510.62 points.
- The index EGX35-LV climbed by 0.22 per cent to 3,730.28 points.
- The SMEs index, EGX70 edged up by 0.85 to 10,312.08 points.
- The EGX100 index jumped by 0.66 per cent, to 13,899.13 points.
The total market cap reached 2,407,082,025,191 Egyptian pounds.
The Arabs and non-Arab foreigners were net sellers with 120,138,827 Egyptian pounds, and 83,397,093 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Egyptians were net buyers with 203,535,920 Egyptian pounds.
Top gainers
- Copper For Commercial Investment & Real Estate Development shares went up by 10.13 per cent to close at 0.881 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Sabaa International Company for Pharmaceutical and Chemical shares surged by 9.09 per cent, closing at 3.000 Egyptian pounds per share.
- Misr Oils & Soap shares rose by 9.08 per cent reaching 175.350 Egyptian pounds per share.
Top losers
- Arabia Investments Holding shares went down by 5.69 per cent to close at 0.680 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Gulf Canadian Real Estate Investment Co. shares dropped by 4.80 per cent to close at 3.970 per cent a share.
- Gadwa For Industrial Development shares fell by 3.98 per cent, to close at 7.000 Egyptian pounds a share.
