Egypt’s stock exchange (EGX) closed in green notes on Wednesday, with the main index, EGX30 surging by 1.27 per cent, to 30,485.63 points.
The Shariah index, EGX33, gained 0.93 per cent, to 2,940.39 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 surged by 0.44 per cent, to 7,102.96 points.
The index, EGX100 index climbed by 0.81 per cent, to 10,158.05 points.
The total market capitalisation recorded 2,074,830,261,868 Egyptian pounds.
Arabs and non-Arab foreigners were net buyers with a total of 1,758,240,577 Egyptian pounds and 8,065,003,378 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, Egyptians were sellers with total of 9,823,243,955 Egyptian pounds.

- Shares of General Company for Land Reclamation, Development and Reconstruction (AALR.CA) soared by 19.99 per cent, to close at the price of 53.910 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Shares of Reacap Financial Investments (REAC.CA) climbed by 19.92 per cent, to trade at the price of 5.660 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Shares of El Arabia for Land Reclamation (EALR.CA) jumped by 19.14 per cent, to the purchasing price of 43.450 Egyptian pounds a share.

- Shares of Alexandria National Company for Financial Investment (ANFI.CA) dived by 19.98 per cent, to close at 26.800 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Shares of Egyptian Arabian Company Themar for Securities Brokerage SAE (EASB.CA) sank by 19.54 per cent, to close at 4.200 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Shares of El Kahera El Watania Investment (KWIN.CA) plunged by 12.08 per cent, to close at the price of 35.310 Egyptian pounds a share.
