Egypt’s stock market closed northwards on Thursday. The main index, EGX30 rose by 1.19 per cent, to 28,050.33 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 climbed by 0.12 per cent, to 6,485.85 points.
The index, EGX100 index jumped by 0.14 per cent, to 9,255.9 points.
The total market cap reached 1,979,985,123,917 Egyptian pounds.
The Arabs’ and Non-Arabs transactions were mainly selling with a total of 60,986,755 Egyptian pounds, and 582,297,284 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the non-Arabs were net buyers with 643,284,039 Egyptian pounds.
Top gainers on Monday
The shares of Ajwa Group for Food Industries – Egypt (AJWA.CA) climbed by 18.75 per cent, to close at 63.210 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Egyptians Real Estate Fund Certificates (EGREF.CA) rose by 17.54 per cent, to the purchasing price of 14.740 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Development and Engineering Consultants Co (DAPH.CA) jumped by 15.65 per cent, to trade at 41.830 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Monday
The shares of CI Capital Holding For Financial Investments (CICH.CA) dropped by 6.08 per cent, to close at the price of 5.410 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Egypt Aluminum (EGAL.CA) declined by 5.54 per cent, to close at the price of 98.520 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Remco for Tourism Villages Construction (RTVC.CA) fell by 4.89 per cent, to the purchasing price of 4.470 Egyptian pounds a share.
