Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed in the green zone on Sunday.
- The benchmark index, EGX30 went 0.50 per cent higher to 35,111.82 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33 rose 0.82 per cent to 3,516.95 points.
- The index EGX35-LV added 0.46 per cent to 3,893.77 points.
- The SMEs index, EGX70 gained 0.12 per cent to 10,923.58 points.
- The EGX100 index increased 0.21 per cent to 14,420.39 points.
The total market capitalisation reached 2,508,993,171,665 Egyptian pounds.
Arabs and non-Arab foreigners were net buyers with 48,509,490 pounds, and 46,569,119 pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, Egyptians were net sellers with 95,078,609 Egyptian pounds.
Top gainers
- Shares of Ferchem Misr for Fertilisers and Chemicals soared 19.99 per cent to 78.800 pounds a share.
- Shares of Golden Pyramids Plaza jumped 19.23 per cent to 1.240 pounds per share.
- Shares of Samad Misr -EGYFERT climbed 15.57 per cent to 229.700 pounds per share.
Top losers
- Shares of International Agricultural Products plunged 7.31 per cent to 23.220 pounds a share.
- Shares of Premium HealthCare Group sank 6.06 per cent to 0.124 pounds a share.
- Shares of Golden Coast Company dived 4.98 per cent to 3.050 pounds a share.
