Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed in the green zone on Sunday.
- The benchmark index, EGX30 ended flat at 37,378.58 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33 gained 1.56 per cent to 3,782.11 points.
- The index EGX35-LV advanced 0.17 per cent to 4,102.81 points.
- The SMEs index, EGX70 rose 0.09 per cent to 11,352.58 points.
- The EGX100 index scaled up 0.57 per cent to 15,058.23 points.
The total market capitalisation reached 2,656,808,964,694 Egyptian pounds.
Non-Arab foreigners were net buyers with 64,123,533 pounds. Meanwhile, Egyptians and Arabs were net sellers with total of 31,923,263 pounds and 32,200,269 pounds, respectively.
Top gainers
- Shares of Sinai Cement soared 20.00 per cent to 65.460 pounds a share.
- Shares of Taaleem Management Services jumped 20.00 per cent to 15.900 pounds per share.
- Shares of Arabian Cement Company climbed 20.00 per cent to 47.700 pounds per share.
Top losers
- Shares of Subscription Rights of Creast Mark For Contracting and Real Estate plunged 9.04 per cent to 0.171 pounds a share.
- Shares of Misr National Steel – Ataqa sank 7.33 per cent to 10.740 pounds a share.
- Shares of Mansourah Poultry dived 6.03 per cent to 2.650 pounds a share.
