EGX Goes Bullish, Earns L.E 3.2 Bln; Closing Tuesday

On Tuesday’s closing session, the EGX posted gains of L.E 3.2 billion as the capital market amounted to L.E 371.397 billion.

The main index, EGX 30 hiked 0.92% to close at 5079.44 p. EGX20 upped 0.97% to close at 5927.27 p.

Meanwhile, the mid- and small-cap index, the EGX70 increased 1.07% to close at 479.61 p. Price index EGX100 raised 1.14% to close at 821.36 p.

Trades came to 28.115 transactions; worth L.E 487.789 million and volume amounted to 141.604 million shares.

This was after trading in 178 listed securities; 34 down and 125 up while 19 keeping their previous levels.
