The Egyptian Ministry of Finance sold 3- and 10-year treasury bonds worth EGP 1.5 billion on Monday.
The Ministry raised EGP one billion from the 3-year T-bonds (mature on October 25th 2016) and EGP 500 million from the 10-year T-bonds (mature on January 1st 2023).
The yields on 3-year T-bonds ranged from 15% to 15.500%, while the average return registered 15.328%.
The yields on 10-year T-bonds ranged from 16.75% to 17.15%, while the average return registered 16.996%.
The Ministry announced it will offer treasury bills and bonds worth EGP 170 million in Q4 of FY 2012/2013 (April-June) as follows: EGP 69 billion in April, EGP 46.5 billion in May and EGP 54.5 billion in June.
