Egypt has scored 100 per cent on the Global Cybersecurity Index (GCI) for 2023-2024, placing it in the top 12 countries globally, as recognised by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
The Global Cybersecurity Index by the ITU, a UN agency, evaluates countries on five key pillars: legal, technical, organisational, cooperation, and capacity-building, as stated in a release from the Cabinet on Tuesday.
