Egyptian supply ministry is to offer three plots for investors to establish, develop, and manage commercial and logistic zones in Beheira and Mersa Matruh governorates, minister Khaled Hanafy said Tuesday.
The plots will be put up for a public auction, the minister added.
This step comes to activate the initiative of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to establish commercial chains and logistic zones in order to provide citizens with low-price commodities in addition to thousands of job opportunities to upgrade domestic trade.
The minister said that two plots are located in Damanhur city in Beheira; the first plot is estimated at 35 feddans to build commercial zone while the second one is estimated at 14 feddans to establish logistics zone.
The third land is in Mersa Matruh will be allocated to establish logistics area on the space of 20 feddans.
Hanafy invited all domestic and global firms to invest in those lands according to the imposed conditions.
