Egypt Allows 40 Trucks Carrying Building Materials Into Gaza

Egypt allowed 40 trucks carrying building materials into the Gaza Strip through Rafah Crossing as part of a Qatari grant to supply the strip with building materials, an official source at Rafah Crossing has said.

One of the trucks transported 40 tons of cement while 39 trucks transported 855 cubic metres of gravel, the Middle East News Agency reported the source as saying.

This step aims at providing Gaza with building materials required for projects to reconstruct the strip.
