Egypt approves €3-m EU grant for vaccine manufacturing

Egypt’s House of Representatives has approved a 3-million-euro agreement with the European Union (EU) to support local vaccine and medicine manufacturing

The grant supports Egypt’s plans to increase local production of medical products and ensure equitable access across Africa, aligning with the EU’s Global Gateway and Global Health Strategy.

Minister of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation, Rania Al-Mashat, highlighted the long-standing partnership between Egypt and the EU, noting that these grants will significantly contribute to Egypt’s development in key sectors.
