Egypt approves incentives for green hydrogen projects
The House of Representatives’ Energy and Environment Committee, under the leadership of Talaat Al-Suwaidi, has given its final approval on Monday to a government-proposed law concerning incentives for green hydrogen projects and its derivatives.
The draft law offers various incentives aimed at encouraging green energy production, attracting more investments, and enhancing global competitiveness.
The objective of this law is to boost the production of green hydrogen through renewable energy sources, in line with Egypt’s sustainable development strategy and the desire to profit from the creation, application, and export of green energy.
