Egyptian New Urban Communities Authority’s (NUCA) board approved Sunday to allocate a number of land plots in the industrial zone of New El Alamein City, northwest of Cairo, for developers.
The land plots are to be established over two million square metres in various phases, Egypt’s Housing Minister Moustafa Madbouly said Sunday, adding: “the first phase’s space will reach 500,000 square metres maximum.”
The industrial developers are responsible for preparing the designs of road and utilities networks, Madbouly stated.
NUCA is set to execute a bunch of drinking water, sewage, and communication networks as well as road works and electricity grids within all the phases of the land plots, the Egyptian minister said.
The first phase will be carried out within a maximum of 30-month timeframe, he concluded.
