Egypt-based construction giants study bourse listing

A number of major Egyptian construction firms are studying floating some of their shares on local stock market in the coming two years, head of the Egyptian federation of construction announced Saturday.

Those firms aim to boost liquidity and support plans to expand their businesses globally, Hassan Abdel Aziz – Chairman of the Egyptian Federation for Construction and Building Contractors (EFCBC) added.

“The federation supports any listing plans … Listing on bourse is inevitable to enable major firms to double their capital and volume of businesses.” Abdel Aziz said.
