Egypt announced on Thursday that a new all-glass walkway is currently under construction in Aswan, as part of the Mamsha Ahl Misr project.
The governor of Aswan Ashraf Attia Abdel Bary said the walkway stretches over four kilometres and aims to provide an opportunity for citizens, tourists, and visitors to admire the beauty of the Nile in Aswan.
The project runs across the Nile Corniche in Aswan and consists of three levels in Pharaonic and Nubian style.
Aswan’s walkway is part of an ongoing development programme in the governorate aiming to beautify the region’s visual identity.
