Egypt Chosen As Strategic Expert By WTPF
The World Trade Point Federation (WTPF) has decided to select Egypt as a strategic expert to the federation, as Egypt has a prime leading role. Also Egypt was invited to participate in Beijing International Fair for Trade, which is supposed to be held in May, 2013.
This came after the Egyptian International Trade Point (EITP) participated in the 13th event of the general assembly of the (WTPF), which was held in Beijing at the end of 2012. The meeting’s target was supporting the mechanisms that facilitate the small and medium entrepreneurs, enhancing the international competitive capabilities for the SMEs and discussing how to develop the international trade point’s work.
Dr.Fouad Issa, Head of the International Trade Point, said the conference discussed preparing the WTPF’s action plan for the world trade points from 2013 to 2015. He referred that the Egyptian International Trade Point (EITP) had presented several Egyptian proposals to be posted on the federation’s website.
He also pointed to numerous meetings on the sideline of the conference with the Chinese companies and trade points to discuss ways of cooperation and make use of these companies. These meetings showed that some investment corporations are willing to establish plants in the Egyptian industrial zones.
