Egypt completes building 2876 social housing units in Sohag

Egypt has finalised building around 2876 residential units in Upper Egypt’s Sohag as part of a social housing scheme in the city, Sohag governor Ayman Abdel Moneim said Tuesday.

The first phase in Sohag’s social housing scheme will include the completion of 2972 units, Abdel Moneim added.

Additional 72 units in Juhayna city in Sohag will be ready soon as achievement rate has reached 95 percent, he stated.

The achievement rate in 24 units in Tama city in Sohag has hit 85 percent.

Around 1568 out of 2876 units were furnished with all the utilities so far, Sohag governor stated.
