Egyptian Export Promotion Centre (EEPC), an affiliate of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, announced Tuesday it has completed drafting a new strategy to promote the country’s exports for the period from 2017 until 2023.
Minister of Trade Tarek Qabil said that the strategy aims to develop the country’s industry, increase exports, control imports, ensure a business climate capable of supporting the national economy.
Qabil further added that EEPC doubled its activities in May to establish a services centre in cooperation with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
EEPC and Egypt’s Export Promotion Programme have prepared a scheme in order cooperate with exporters, the Egyptian official noted.
