Egypt Condemns Aqsa Precincts Storming By Jewish Settlers

The spokesman for the Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday 14/10/2014 Egypt strongly condemns the storming of the Aqsa Mosque precincts in al-Quds (East Jerusalem) by Jewish settlers under the protection of Israeli troops.

The spokesman added that Egypt also condemned the incident of setting ablaze a mosque in Nablus city by Israeli settlers as a criminal act.

He said “Egypt calls for investigating the incidents and holding those responsible accountable”.

The spokesman concluded that “These practices are not acceptable and represent violations to all international norms. They also undermine peace efforts”.
