Egypt condemns deadly terrorist attack on Niger mosque

Egypt has strongly condemned the brutal terrorist attack on a mosque in southwestern Niger, which resulted in dozens of casualties.

In an official statement, Egypt’s government and people expressed their deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the government and people of Niger, as well as to the families of the victims. They also wished a speedy recovery to all those injured.

Egypt reaffirmed its full solidarity with Niger and its support for all efforts to combat terrorism and achieve security and stability. It also denounced all acts targeting places of worship and sacred sites.
