Egypt confirms 170 new coronavirus cases, 10 deaths on Friday

Egypt reported 170 new coronavirus cases on Friday bringing the total infection tally to 106,230 since the outbreak began in February.

The health ministry also reported 10 new deaths, bringing the total number of deaths from the virus to 6,176.

The statement said that 89 patients have been discharged after recovering from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 98,713.
