Egypt probes partnership with TAV Airports

Egypt’s Minister of Civil Aviation, Sameh Elhefny, met with Turkey’s TAV Airports Holding representatives to explore collaboration in the operation works of the Egyptian airports by private sector companies.

TAV Airports presented a proposal showcasing its extensive services, with discussions focusing on improving operational efficiency and passenger services.

Minister Elhenfy highlighted Egypt’s commitment to partnering with global leaders to optimise airport resources and enhance competitiveness. TAV Airports expressed eagerness to contribute to Egypt’s rapidly advancing aviation sector, offering to implement projects at key airports in line with global standards.

Notably, this meeting is part of broader efforts to engage international firms, including China’s CCCC, Aéroports de Paris, and Abu Dhabi Airports, to adopt best practices, maximise investment returns, and elevate service quality in Egypt’s civil aviation sector.
