Egypt: dollar rates dip slightly at Tuesday’s open

Minor fluctuations in USD exchange rates noted by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) at the start of trading on Tuesday, March 19, 2024.

The National Bank of Egypt (NBE) listed the US dollar with a purchase price of 47.27 Egyptian pounds and a sale price of 47.37 Egyptian pounds.

Banque Misr quoted the dollar at 47.25 Egyptian pounds for buying and 47.35 Egyptian pounds for selling.

The Commercial International Bank (CIB) offered the dollar at rates of 47.27/47.37 Egyptian pounds, while QNB ALAHLI had rates of 47.20/47.30 Egyptian pounds.

Faisal Islamic Bank set the dollar rates at 47.20 for buying and 47.30 for selling, whereas Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank-Egypt (ADIB Egypt) presented the highest exchange rates at 47.90 for buying and 48 for selling.
