Egypt establishes 18 commercial, logistics zones in 11 governorates

Egypt established 18 commercial and logistics zones in 11 governorates nationwide, with investments worth around 49 billion Egyptian pounds ($3.1 billion), said Assistant Minister of Supply and Internal Trade on Monday.

The zones are spanning over 368 feddans, Ibrahim Ashmawy made these remarks during a visit by Minister of Supply Ali El-Moselhy to Tanta logistics zone.

The commercial projects would provide more than 400,000 job opportunities, Ashmawy said.
