Trade between Egypt and Estonia reached $26.5 million during the first nine months of 2024, according to a report by the country’s official statistics agency CAPMAS on Wednesday.
Egyptian exports to Estonia totaled $3.5 million in the same period, slightly down from $3.6 million in 2023. Meanwhile, Egypt’s imports from Estonia rose to $23 million, up from $18.9 million last year.
Remittances from Egyptians working in Estonia increased to $610,000 in fiscal year 2022/2023, compared to $549,000 in 2021/2022. In contrast, remittances from Estonians working in Egypt dropped to $223,000, down from $254,000 in the previous fiscal year.
