Egypt extends heartfelt condolences to Qatar after tragic road accident in Sharm El-Sheikh

Egypt extended its condolences to Qatar on Sunday after a traffic accident in the Red Sea resort city of Sharm El-Sheikh killed and injured several members of the Qatari Amiri Diwan, the foreign ministry said in a statement.

“The Arab Republic of Egypt expresses its deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the State of Qatar — its government and people — over the victims of the tragic accident,” the ministry said.

Egypt reaffirmed its “full solidarity” with Qatar in the aftermath of the incident and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
