Egypt is aiming to activate six agreements signed two years ago with the Ethiopian government, said the Egyptian Minister of Communication and Information Technology (MCIT) Atef Helmy.
According to the Egyptian minister, the six signed agreements are in fields of: providing technological training for the Ethiopian youth, documenting the Ethiopian heritage, developing the Ethiopian electronic governmental system, ensuring cyber security, and benefiting from Egypt’s expertise in the technological zones.
This comes after Atef Helmy had met today with his Ethiopian counterpart Dr. Debretsion Gebremichael to discuss means of bolstering communication and IT cooperation in the coming period.
