Egypt’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, Dr Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, held a meeting with a delegation from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to discuss expanding cooperation in healthcare investments, strengthening Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) and enhancing the efficiency of Egypt’s healthcare system, the Egyptian Cabinet reported.
The meeting, held on the sidelines of the first annual forum of the Universal Health Insurance Authority (UHIA), focused on establishing mechanisms to attract more healthcare investments to Egypt.
Discussions also explored new ideas and strategies to boost public-private collaboration, aiming to improve the quality of healthcare services and ensure better accessibility for Egyptian citizens.
