Egypt and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) agreed on cooperating in the field of exchanging data, agricultural statistics and related information.
This aims at allowing researchers and scientists, especially youth, to benefit from these data so as to achieve comprehensive agricultural development.
The remarks were made at a meeting held between Egyptian Agriculture and Land Reclamation Minister Salah Helal and Head of FAO’s Regional Office in Cairo Abdel Salam Ould Ahmed and his accompanying delegation.
The get-together took up the activities organized by the FAO in Egypt so as to achieve food security in the region and development projects pertaining to combating hunger.
