Egypt: FinMin to Raise EGP6.5 bln T-bills Today

Egypt will be offering today 182- and 364-day treasury bills totaled EGP 6.5 billion, the finance ministry said in a statement.

Egypt’s Finance Ministry further noted that the 182-day treasury bills are worth EGP 2.5 billion, whereas the 364-day T-bills are at value of EGP 4 billion.

The Egyptian Finance Ministry is targeting offering treasury bills as well as bonds valued at EGP 206.5 billion with the coming two months October and December, compared to EGP 200 billion offered during the first quarter of 2013/14.
