Egypt, Germany probe boosting economic ties

Egypt and Germany are considering boosting their economic ties, said Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Ahmed Samir on Thursday.

This came during a meeting between the minister and his German counterpart Robert Habeck.

The meeting discussed different  ways to boost German investments in Egypt.

Samir said the ministry has put together a list of 152 investment opportunities in Egypt, as well as incentives to foreign investors, especially Germans.

Habeck said that his ministry is looking forward to promoting these projects in the German market.
