Gold prices in the Egyptian market on early Thursday have steadied.
The Twenty-four carat gold is sold for EGP 305.37 in local markets; while the widely-spread in Egypt Twenty-one carat gold is sold for EGP 267.20.
For the 18 carat gold, it is sold on Thursday for EGP 229.03.
According to initial estimates released this morning, the gold pound has hit EGP 2141.0; while the silver’s price reached EGP 5.33 per gram.
From his part, Nady Naguib – member of the gold traders chamber – said the gold prices in Egypt are expected to slightly put up during Thursday’s trading powered by pumping new amounts of gold bullion in the global bourses.
