Egypt govt eyes single-digit inflation by ’25-end – PM

The Egyptian government has an ambitious goal of reducing inflation to below 10 per cent by the end of 2025, Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly told a press conference on Thursday.

This move is seen as crucial for stabilising prices, boosting the private sector by lowering borrowing costs, and stimulating economic growth across the country, the prime minister explained.
