Egypt’s Minister of Petroleum Karim Badawy met Monday with Jeff Miller, CEO of US oilfield services company Halliburton, on the sidelines of the ADIPEC 2025 in Abu Dhabi to discuss expanding cooperation and applying advanced technologies in Egypt’s oil and gas sector.
According to a statement from the ministry, the talks focused on deploying new technologies to increase output, improve operational efficiency, and reduce production costs.
Badawy reaffirmed the petroleum sector’s commitment to adopting cutting-edge solutions to enhance productivity and support Egypt’s strategy to maximise the value of its natural resources.
Halliburton presented some of its latest technologies used in well drilling, oil and gas extraction, and production optimisation, the ministry added.
