Egypt hands out 100 private-sector job contracts to people of determination

Egypt’s Labour Minister Mohamed Gebran and Cairo Governor Ibrahim Saber on Thursday oversaw the handover of 100 private-sector job contracts to people of determination, the Cabinet said in a statement.

Gebran said the ministry is expanding vocational training to enhance employability and create job opportunities for young Egyptians at home and abroad.

He added that the new Labour Law No. 14 of 2025, signed by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi earlier this year, marks a milestone in ensuring fairer labour relations, boosting productivity and supporting job creation.

Saber said the initiative reflects President Sisi’s drive to guarantee dignity, equal rights and social inclusion for people of determination, consistent with Egypt’s Vision 2030 strategy.
