Egypt Hosts 2nd Regional Forum for Digital Arabic Content Next Wednesday

Egypt will host the Second Regional Forum for the Digital Arabic Content entitled “Developmental Impact of Arab Digital Content Industry” on November 12-13. It is organised by the Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.

The event will be held on the sidelines of 18th Round of the Arab Telecommunications and Information Council of Ministers Meeting on November, in the presence of representatives of Arab governments, international and regional organizations, the private sector, global companies and Civil Society organizations concerned with enriching the digital content in the Arab world.

The first day comprises three sessions, the first of which discusses the role of governments in supporting the Arabic digital content industry and the second one confers modern technology trends to promote Arabic digital content industry. The third session discusses issues of media content and e-publications.

During the second day, the fourth session discusses challenges and prospects of regional cooperation to promote the Arabic digital content, and the fifth session deliberates the role of innovation in promoting the national economy. The sixth session confers the role of academic institutions in developing the Arabic digital content.
