Egypt implements 9,680 social housing units in Sadat city – official

Egypt’s Housing Ministry has implemented 9,680 social housing units in Sadat city, according to the Deputy Executive Director of the Social Housing Mortgage Finance Fund.

There are 6,100 additional units are currently under construction, while the ministry is offering 576 new units, Salah Hassan further added.

As for the ministry’s other works nationwide, there are 37,968 units have been already accomplished in Sixth of October City, while 32,304 other units are currently being carried out, Arab Finance reported on Thursday.

In Badr City, the ministry has been execution 79,968 social housing units, while 26,976 new units are considered to be built, Hassan said.

Egyptian Housing Minister Assem el Gazzar recently announced the completion of 166,000 housing units nationwide.
