Egypt imposes temporary fees of 15% on iron billets, 25% on steel rebar

Egypt has imposed temporary import duties of 15 percent on iron billets and 25 percent on steel rebar from Monday, Finance Ministry said on Monday.

The ministry said that the import fees aim to protect national industry against unfair competition.
