Egypt: Industry Minister – Negotiations To Sign Free Trade Agreement Between Egypt, EAEC To Start Soon

Industry, Trade and Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Minister Mounir Fakhry Abdel-Nour said that preparations are underway to start negotiations for signing a free trade agreement between Egypt and the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC).

The Eurasian Economic Community groups Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Armenia, which recently joined the EAEC, said Abdel-Nour. He added that he will pay a visit to Belarus within the upcoming two weeks, upon the invitation from the Belarus side.

The EAEC countries welcome the start of the negotiations as soon as possible, Abdel-Nour said in press statements on Thursday 19/06/2014.
