Egypt: Iran’s Support For Syria Hinders Relations

The spokesman for President Mohammed Morsi says the Egyptian leader told Iran’s foreign minister in a meeting in Cairo that relations between the two countries are being hindered by Tehran’s support for Syria’s regime.

Spokesman Yasser Ali says Morsi told the Iranian minister,Ali Akbar Salehi, in a meeting Tuesday that as president he cannot ignore public opinion in Egypt against the Syrian regime “that uses harsh language and violence against people.”
