Egypt, Ireland mull boosting civil aviation – minister
Egypt and Ireland are planning on boosting cooperation in civil aviation, said Egyptian Minister of Civil Aviation Mohamed Abbas Helmy on Monday.
The minister met with Irish Ambassador to Cairo, Nuala O’Brien, to boost the cooperation.
They discussed opportunities of exchanging expertise, as well as promoting air traffic and shipment.
Both ministers also talked about providing technical support to maintain some Irish airline.
Egypt is planning to launch new routes with Ireland to expand its network in Western Europe.
Egypt is also currently operating a direct air route of four flights a week between Cairo and Dublin.
