Egypt joins ARSO board, standards committee – FEC

Egypt has secured membership of both the Board of Directors and the Standards Management Committee (SMC) of the African Organisation for Standardisation (ARSO), the Food Export Council (FEC) announced on Sunday.

The council stated that Egypt’s election to lead ARSO demonstrates its leadership in Africa and the trust member states have in its quality and standardisation expertise. This strategic move is enhancing regional industrial and trade integration, supporting Africa’s sustainable development goals and Agenda 2063.
