Egypt, KSA Ink Two Agreements On Quality Specifications

Egypt and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) have signed two agreements on mutual recognition of certificates of conformity, specifications and quality.

The agreements were signed by Deputy Governor of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) Fawzy Hakeem and Head of the Egyptian Organization for Standardization (EOS) Hassan Abdel Hameed.

The agreements aim to support the movement of bilateral trade and reduce the technical barriers to the movement of foreign trade between the two countries, said Abdel Hameed.

The agreements stipulate increasing technical cooperation between the SASO and the EOS, exchanging expertise and holding training programs.
