Egypt’s Minister of Supply and Internal Trade Ali Moselhi witnessed on Sunday the launch of the first automated teller machine (ATM) to sell gold bullion for the citizens, during the third edition of the NEBU Expo for Gold & Jewellery.
The ATM will support Egypt’s financial inclusion and digital transformation efforts, according to a statement by Ministry of Supply. The statement did not provide details on where the new ATM is located.
The event is specifically designed to highlight creativity and innovation with a focus on business and investment on a regional and international scale while offering exhibitors, trade buyers, and visitors new trading opportunities.
