Egypt launches 1st nano-tech insulation plant
Egypt’s Arab Organisation for Industrialisation chairman Mokhtar Abdel Latif inaugurated on Thursday the Nanoman Egypt Middle East project at Sakr Factory for Advanced Industries, according to the Cabinet statement.
This collaboration between Sakr Factory, a subsidiary of the Arab Organisation for Industrialisation, and the Saudi Insulation Factory Company marks the launch of Egypt’s first nanotechnology industrial project and the second in the Middle East.
The project aims to localise nanotechnology, advancing environmental sustainability by providing cleaner, safer solutions while reducing material and water consumption. It is designed to meet local and export demands with high-quality products, enhance manufacturing efficiency, and lower costs.
This initiative is part of Egypt’s broader strategy to leverage advanced technologies in industrial sectors, aligning with the country’s Vision 2030 for sustainable development.
