Egypt launches kaolinitic sand mining tender

The Egyptian Mineral Resources Authority (EMRA) announced the launch of General Tender No. 1 for 2024, inviting local and international mining companies to explore kaolinitic sand, silica sand, and associated minerals across several sectors in Egypt.

The tender opens on Wednesday, 18 December 2024, and will close on Thursday, February 13, 2025. Moreover, it will operate under a system of royalties, taxes, and a free carry interest share for EMRA.
