Egypt launches Madrastak Fe Masr Initiative to support expatriate students

Egypt’s foreign and education ministries have signed an agreement to roll out a digital learning programme for children of Egyptian expatriates, the Foreign Ministry said on Sunday.

Foreign Minister Badr Abdel-Atty and Education Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif signed the protocol for the Madrastak Fe Masr (Your School in Egypt) Initiative on the sidelines of the sixth Egyptians Abroad Conference, taking place in Cairo on Aug. 3–4.

The initiative aims to deliver quality educational services to children of Egyptian expatriates by providing access to certified Egyptian curricula through interactive digital classrooms and online content. It also includes technical and logistical support to ensure an effective and engaging learning experience.

Developed in coordination between the ministries of Foreign Affairs and Education, the initiative responds to long-standing demands from Egyptian communities abroad for a structured educational model that reflects their national identity while accommodating their unique circumstances.

Madrastak Fe Masr is positioned as a strategic step towards integrating technology into education and strengthening cultural and educational ties between Egypt and its diaspora. It offers a modern, flexible solution for students abroad to pursue their education within the framework of Egypt’s national curriculum.
