Egyptian government has launched Saturday “WhatsApp Metro”, aimed at users of Cairo Metro lines.
The service will enable citizens to send audio, text messages, videos, and images to report the authorities for any complaints, violations, and suggestions about the three metro lines provided.
The Egyptian Company for Metro Management and Operation said the new application will come into effect as of Sunday, May 17th, 2015.
In a statement on Saturday, the company said citizens can send the complaints, violations, or suggestions, via WhatsApp to 01021778887.
WhatsApp Metro will serve the citizens in line with the hotline 16048, which works around the clock, and Cairo Metro’s official page on Facebook.
