Egypt mulls selling bread by weight 

The Minister of Supply and Internal Trade has proposed selling bread by weight soon. He acknowledged that while there are challenges, the proposal is being evaluated.

The minister also noted that Egypt’s wheat reserves currently exceed six months, with plans to increase it to nine months or more. He explained that the country consumes 20 million tons of wheat annually.
