Egypt negotiating $200 million loan from World Bank
Egypt is negotiating a 200 million loan from the World Bank to finance a project to link 6th of October dry port with Imbaba/El Manashy line besides developing a dual freight railway line.
Egyptian Ministry of Transport met early Tuesday with a World Bank Group delegation to discuss securing the loan and carry out the project, informed sources told Amwal Al Ghad.
The ministry plans to launch an international tender within the second half of the year to implement a railway project linking between the dry port and El Manashy line and developing a dual freight railway line.
